- Satin nickel - Max wattage: 7W LEDs when covering with thermal insulation. (Lamps must be ordered separately). We recommend the Aurora Ice 5W GU10 LED which offers a low energy alternative to a 50W halogen. The wide 60 degree beam angle distributes light over a wider area.
- Aurora EFD-Pro downlights comply with Building Regulations; Part B (fire safety), Part C (moisture protection), Part E (acoustics).
- They also comply with Part L (energy efficiency) when fitted with a suitable low energy lamp.
- Fire rated: fully fire rated 30, 60 and 90-minute fire rated ceilings.
- Insulation coverable as standard when fitted with a low energy LED.
- New and improved push-fit terminal block with loop in/loop out for quick and easy installation.
- IP Ratings: IP20 Fixed and adjustable versions. IP65 bathroom version is which is suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2.

Yes Insulation Coverable SpecificationsInsulation coverable downlights are specially designed fittings that are either fitted with an insulation cover cap or use their own structure as a barrier.
They allow you to lay thermal insulation on top of the downlights. Cutting around thermal insulation isn't energy efficient as the warm air escapes through the downlight holes.

Here's a short description about the 'Big 3 Colour Temperatures':- 2700K - Extra Warm White
Similar to a traditional light bulb or halogen. Provides a warmer, homely tone. Ideal for use in living rooms, or areas of relaxation. - 3000K - Warm White
Clearer lighting tone but still quite warm. This is the ‘new norm’ for general lighting and is the most popular option. If you’re unsure and want something less orangey than 2700K and not as harsh as 4000K, then try this. - 4000K - Cool White
A clearer colour tone, popular in commercial locations as well as bathrooms & kitchens. Cool white appears brighter and clearer than warm white. It can make a room appear cold and clinical but can make a room feel whiter and more modern.

I have some bathroom fittings and 70- 100mm hole converters but they don’t seem compatible, please adviseQuestion by: Andy on 7 Jan 2023, 15:37It looks like you've purchased these Aurora downlights with an Integral hole converter. These are 2 different brands which aren't designed to work together.
Aurora don't do a hole converter for use with these. Integral do offer a downlight called the EvoFire that works with the hole converter and are available here:
