The market leading Aurora Ice LED GU10 combines affordability with performance. If you're looking for a great value GU10 LED then look no further than the Aurora Ice lamp that's why we stock this product in the thousands!
With a minimal 5W energy consumption it delivers an impressive 480 to 600 lumens (varies with colour temperatures). With a comparable light output to the outlawed 50W halogen, it offers energy savings of 90%.
The combination of bright lumen output and wide 60 degree beam ensures that light is spread out evenly and consistently across an area. Allowing downlights to spaced further apart while avoiding in dark spots. Most LED GU10 light bulbs have a more narrow 40 degree beam, with a brighter lumen package and wider beam you can space downlights as much as 2 metres apart.
Available in the 4 most popular colour temperatures options which include 2700K extra warm white that is homely like a halogen. Warm white 3000K which is a mid range white, not as orange as a halogen and not as harsh as the third choice which is cool white 4000K. Cool white offers a clearer, whiter lighting tone which can make a room feel sterile and clinical but when used in the right setting, cool white can also make a room feel brighter and look modern. Some examples of using cool white in the right environment would be in a bathroom with white tiles or a modern kitchen with glossy cupboards and worktops. While the 6400K mimics a daylight effect on a bright, clear day,
The Aurora 5W GU10 LED has a life expectancy of 25,000 hours and comes with a 3 year guarantee. From experience this is a highly reliable product. Available in dimmable or non dimmable, the dimmable version offers superb flicker free dimming results. It is compatible with many home automation systems like Lutron, Rako, Lightwave as well as rotary LED dimmer switches like Hamilton Litestat or Varilight V-Pro.
Featuring the Aurora EnFiniti™ edge-to-edge multifaceted polycarbonate lens which reduces glare and offers a halogen like appearance while considerably reducing your energy costs for many years to come.

Specifications & Dimensions
Specifications Beam Angle SpecificationsA narrow beam angle of 25 degrees will provide a more focused and intense light. Ideal for illuminating specific objects like picture frames on a track lighting system.
A medium beam angle of 40 degrees will provide an even spread of light with a decent intensity. Ideal for smaller rooms like bathrooms.
A wider 60 degree beam can allow you to space downlights further apart, especially when you've got brighter LEDs. Wider downlight distances = fewer downlights which saves money especially in larger rooms like lounges.
60 Degrees Brand SpecificationsAurora Lighting CRI SpecificationsCRI stands for Colour Rendering Index. It is a measurement of how well a light source renders the true colour of an object compared to natural light.

Aurora EN-DGU005/30 LED GU10 3000 Kelvin Dimmable
Are these leading edge or trailing edge lamps? Does it matter when selecting a dimmer switch?Question by: Guy on 2 Nov 2022, 22:06They would working on both types. The Varilight V-Pro and most other LED compatible dimmers have leading edge and trailing edge dimming types that can be programmed.
It can depend on how many LEDs you have on the circuit. Trailing edge generally works better with the lowest wattages.
Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 3 Nov 2022, 05:55They will work with leading edge or trailing edge. Dimmers like Hamilton Litestat and this Varilight V-Pro module have both dimming modes:

You can change the dimming mode when you've installed them and fine tune the performance by turning the knob in a certain sequence.Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 6 Nov 2022, 08:53 -
